About Our Pastor and His Family
Pastor Gary Darnell was raised in Yuma, Virginia. He accepted Christ as Savior at the age of 20 and then attended Bible College to prepare for the ministry. It is there that he met Heather who was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan. Heather accepted Christ as Savior as a child and has been serving in various church ministries since her teen years. They were married in August of 2004. Pastor Darnell and Heather have two boys. Seth was born in 2006 and Caleb was born in 2008.
The Darnell family came to Harmony Baptist Church in September of 2011. Since that time, the town of Waterford, PA and Harmony Baptist Church have truly become their home. From making friends within the community to hunting and adventuring the Darnells enjoy being a part of the greater Erie area.
They have found that Harmony is “A Good Place To Call Home!”
